Hi,

When using stress test like prime95, how to determine the hardware problem. How can I pinpoint whether if its the CPU overclocking or the RAM overclocking that failed?

A good way to narrow it down, would be to lower the ram speed to the lowest possible frequency in bios. Make sure the ram voltage is set to factory specs and then retest. This way you're overclocking one thing at a time,it makes for much easier problem solving.

Plus what saint said, and list system specs, that will help

If the small fft's test fails, your problem is usually the CPU OC settings.

If either the blend or large fft's test fails, your problem is usually memory.

If, like most people now, you are running an AMD BE or Intel K CPU, you can leave the memory settings completely stock and just work with the CPU multiplier and voltage. This makes them really easy to overclock.
