Highest southbridge temperature ???

Hello,
I have an ASUS P5G41- M LX motherboard. I am using it with core2duo 2.0 Ghz oclkd at 2.4 Ghz with a FSB @ 1066 Mhz.
But the southbridge heatsink is getting very hot, can anybody tell me what is the maximum allowable temp for this ???

Hot enough that you cannot keep a bare finger on it?

I have three G'byte G41 boards, two of them OC'd to chipset limits. And mine do the same thing.

I'd say not to worry about it.

If you are using the motherboard graphics, you can tack a small fan (50 mm or so) to the heatsink with Silicone Sealer or hot melt glue.

i`m using Gigabyte Z77X-D3H and intel Core i5 3550, the south bridge temp is 70 Celcius after 6 hours run. and the room temp is 33 Celcius.
