Hello all;

I am thinking about upgrading my 6 year old computer and really like the case I have right now, its big and spacious and very solid. Its an ANTEC plus view, currently have an Asus A7N8X Deluxe with an Athlon cpu.

My question is can I use this case to build a new computer, maybe with an upgraded power supply? I think its like 300W.

The build I am thinking about is an AMD Phenom IIX965 with an MSI 790FX mobo. Great price at new egg for $303

Will be using it mostly for gaming, would you recommend the above combo?

Thanks in advance.

You can reuse the case but I recommend a PSU upgrade. A PSU from 6 years ago will not have Active PFC or be 80Plus Certified. I would get at least a 400w PSU from Antec, Corsair, Seasonic or OCZ.
