I would go to the dell forums for upgrade advice. Dell boards can be picky about ram. Use cpuid and see what it reports for the ram brand and timings. Crucial will guarantee it's ram if you pay a little more and buy from their website. But the first order of business is for you to find out if the board can run 2 gb sticks. Good luck.
