"Cannot find path ...." usually means that when you connected the HD, the drive letter changed (assigned by the OS). This is due to flash drives plugged in sometimes. Get into Control Panel ---> Administrative Tools ---> Computer Management ---> Disk Management.
Then select the drive and change the drive letter to something like 'P', 'Q', 'R' etc. - now the new drive letter will stay with the drive and when plugged in to the computer, this new drive letter will be retained.
Yes I did what u said . But the same thing is happening ,when i copy a file
from my PC to HD its again showing "Cannot find path" and near the toolbar
its showing :-
" Windows-delayed Write Failed "
"Windows was unable to save all the data for the file Q:\$Mft. The data has
been lost . This error may be caused by a failure of your computer hardware
or connection. Please try to save this file elsewhere."
The Same thing was shown before also ...... wht should I do Please help me out , Iam in urgent use of HD now .
