Hi...
I cant transfer anything from my computer to my HDD HXD2 320 GB

It says "Cannot copy data 1: Cannot find the specified file.
Make sure you specify the correct path and file name."

Sometimes when i connect it doesn't even open and i have to format it to open ( Quick format ) and then again the same previous problem ......... :(

Please can you find out a solution for this problem ........ :'(

Thanks.......!!!!!me_skyline@hotmail.com

Welcome to Tom's Hardware Forum!

"Cannot find path ...." usually means that when you connected the HD, the drive letter changed (assigned by the OS). This is due to flash drives plugged in sometimes. Get into Control Panel ---> Administrative Tools ---> Computer Management ---> Disk Management.

Then select the drive and change the drive letter to something like 'P', 'Q', 'R' etc. - now the new drive letter will stay with the drive and when plugged in to the computer, this new drive letter will be retained.
