My motherboard has a power switch connector (that hooks up to the front panel) that has the two pins next to each other. However, my front panel has a two pin connection, but the pins have one space between it. If you think of it more simply, my mobo has a connector that takes up two spaces. The front panel takes up three.
Does anyone know where I can buy connectors for motherboard to front panel hookup? What are they called? Also, what gauge wire do those wire use ?(the power switch, HDD LED, etc.) Any help would be appreciated, I would like to hook this up soon.
Thanks.

Are you sure the power switch is 3 pins wide? That should be the power LED, not the power switch. Several motherboards accommodate 2 and 3 pin wide power LED connectors.
I did mean the LED. They're the same connector type. Does anyone know what they are?

What motherboard do you have? If need be, you can lift the little tab that holds one of the connectors and move it to the middle hole. However I never had to do that on recent motherboards. They normally support both 2-pin and 3-pin LED connectors.
