Installing win 7 on Crucial C300

Hello,
I am trying to do a fresh install on my Crucial C300 SSD. The disk is formatted and reognized but when I go to install windows won't instll on the SSD. I get a set up error saying it cannot find or create a partition. What am I missing.

Is the sata port your drive is plugged into set to AHCI? You could try a different port. Is this a new drive or one you have been using?
