8800GT was a decent card but unless you are reusing it, get a GTS 250/HD 4850 or something with even more teeth for Crysis

What resolution are you running it at and what quality do you want to run at? Its very hard to get crysis to run maxed out smoothly but COD4 and what not you should be able to play fairly well at 1280*1024 with that card, but it seems a waste to get an nvidia card and a 790gx chipset, get a crossfire capable board or an nVidia card, not both or you are just wasting money.

For all other games a HD 4850 would do cept you might want to tone down the AA/AF with Crysis hehe

What is your budget? You'll get more meaningful advice if you edit your post to follow the format in the "How to ask for new build advice" sticky at the top of the forum. The new Intel i5 chips were just released today and are an excellent option depending on your budget.
