Intel Core i5-2500K overclocking need help plz

hi people so im a beginner and need some help.im planning to overclock my intel cpu Intel Core i5-2500K. But im not sure what to use or if my spec need improvement plz help,

these are my spec......
mobo -AsRock Z68-Extreme3-Gen3 Intel Z68
ram-Kingston KVR 8GB (4GBx2) DDR3 1333
cpu- Intel Core i5-2500K
case- Thermaltake SpaceCraft Tower Case with PSU
hdd- SATA Samsung 3.5" 1TB HDD
gpu- gtx 560

what software would i need to use? what improvements and plz dont suggest two many expensive improvements it is already getting out of my budget

I have that exact same Mobo, and just overclocked my cpu to 4ghz tonight. My first overclock. I used Cpu-Z, and Coretemp, and prime95; start off by getting those programs. Read about overclocking before you try and mess around with it so you know all the risks and precautions.
