I'll rapidly resume the conclusion.
Power consumption:
Idle: 27W Load: 180W
The 5870 is, in theory, 2.26 more powerful than the 4870, bandwidth 33% superior, bus 256bits and 1.5 to 2 times faster in game than the 4870 when the memory don't limit it.
New perspective: possibility to play on 3 to 6 monitors 
And of course, DX11!

I plan to buy a new system(link) w/ a 920 and this card seem to be a nice option because I plan, in the future, to run in SLI/CF mode so when prices drop, I still can upgrade my system.
[Edit]: I heard that new card may come in october and I don't know if I should wait.

Now that brings the question to me whether Chris and Florian shared tests or was one a translation of the other or did Fedy do the tests and then Chris and Florian added their views and additional detail ?

Somebody forgot to put his name in as co-author, same as somebody (probably) forgot to put a publication date on the tomshw.it article (since it's pub date was originally 0000/00/00 ) which meant it went live immediately.
