A good friend of mine has entrusted me with the money and asked me to build him the best he can get in the 1000$ budget.
The thing is the prices you guys know and the prices on the romanian market may vary..


APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: 5 days or so BUDGET RANGE: 900-1000 USD ( <=3000 RON (Romanian Leu) )

SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: School, Internet, Gaming, Movies

I was initially thinking of a E8400 build then after reading around here I thought new technology Phenom x3 720 would be better.

i5 came out today. The i5-750 is reasonable priced.
That's what I would go for.

I eventually decided to go for a Phenom II X3 720 cpu, ddr3, and a 4850 videocard.
