Well, the 8800GT512 was just a fill in card from my friend until I got these....I did have 3X48701GB, so actually it is only a moderate increase for me...

1920x1200 4xAA and 16AF in every game.

Btw, I just did a couple minutes of Crysis Warhead, and some preliminary results: constant fps between 30 and 45, even in heavy action.

Also, anybody know if it is normal for my CPU to only be used about 25% maximum during Crysis ?

OK here is a totally random contest we can get going.....

My favorite band is August Burns Red, a rather unknown band btw.

Who can tell me my favorite song on their 3rd CD 'Constellations" ???

There are only 12 songs to choose from, so there can only be 12 maximum guesses. One guess per person, and you'll probably need to google them to get info on the CD itself. Only guesses in this thread will count, first person to get it right, I will email them the CD key to DIRT 2. Good Luck!

And while you're all at it, go check out their music, they are pretty sweet.

Let the games begin.

EDIT: In case two people guess the same answer, I will take the first one chronlogically.

I read alot of reviews and the mostly instrumental song stood out. Almost guessed thirty seven but that would have been too mainstream for a contest like this.

Very Nice! Keep the info coming. Are you using VSync (or any other specialized settings in CCC or in game)? Also, have you gotten a chance to compare your results with any sites (if any) that have a similar setup? (just to make sure yours/theirs is running top notch.) Awesome to finally see them out in the wild.

I would love to see some benchmarks. I also think Nvidia has finally got some competition. Its been a long time since I would rather get a Radeon Card then Nvidia. The 8800GTS 512 was such a great card for power consumption, noise and performance for the money. Now ATI's 5870 takes that place.

Honestly its better to wait for Intels i9 or AMD 6 Core ,USB 3.0 and SATAII 6GB/s motherboards along with Nvidia's Direct X 11 cards once tax returns start rolling in. I doubt NVIDIA will be better for a competitive price due to the lack of time with the smaller achatecture not to mention their chip will be hotter louder and larger / pricier so it will drive this SWEEET card down in price.

Those card sold off new egg as fast as they came in. Plus the limit was one per customer :(
