How to remove read only on all folders

Hi, I cannot remove the read only option from any of my folders. Even after I removed it, the same green square mark appears. As all my folders are locked, I am not able to back up my iTunes content with a special software. So I am stuck now with my iPod and cannot upload anything anymore. Can you please help? Thanks!

So as not to bore you with redundant procedure, just how did you remove the read only ?
