Need help on choosing a GPU + PSU!

I am going to buy a system for my parents, mainly for browsing/VOIP, MagicJack and DVD ( HDTV VERY rarely ).
Sometimes running Windows XP in VMWare under Windows Vista/7 ( for peripherals that do not have drivers for Vista/7 yet )

I have decided on the following components:

CPU:

I am confused about which of the following PSU's to get:

2. $90 ( $80 after MIR @ http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139004 ) CORSAIR CMPSU-550VX 550W

I am, however, clueless about which Graphics Card to get for the system!

I have heard and read that ATI cards usually have issues with crappy drivers and very little support for updated drivers.
NVIDA on the other hand have awesome drivers and they often update them too

Get the 450W PSU + 9400GT, is a basic computer, they don't go to overclock or sometime like this, so, you don't need too much power.

Agree about the 450 watt PSU. You don't need much power.

Would a Nvidia GT2xx be nice?

Or is the linked GeForce 9400 GT 1GB good enough?

I am wondering if the rest of the system would become a bottleneck for the GPU?

Is a basic computer, you don't need spend $94 in a GPU for VOIP, DVD and surf the web. With the 9400GT is enough, or if you want a better card, with $10 more, you can get this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130509

But how i said up, is a basic PC, you don't need a $94 GPU.
