I believe the OP already has a PSU.

Correct, I have the PSU posted in the first post. That frees up another 100 to purchase better parts. With the 64 bit windows OS would going over 4 gig of ram be worth it?

Why do you suggest a mobo with onboard video when I will be buying a gpu?

I'm not looking to over clock to break the sound barrier, I'm just looking to have the ability to safely squeeze a little more processing power out of a cpu. Why do you guys suggest waiting for the I5 Intel over the current AMD cpu?

Please post items only from newegg.com.

Thanks for the help so far.

My main question is how much the i5 750 is hampered by the lack of hyper-threading.

Currently there's no real reason to have more than 4 gigs of RAM for gaming. Don't worry about the onboard video, it will be disabled when you install your card.

The i5 kicks the crap out of the AMD anything atm, that's why we are all suggesting it.

32 bit o/s only reads 3 gigs of memory.

1> Probably not, unless you are hardcore gaming and doing other things in the background that take up alot of memory at the same time.

2> Because the i5 and p55 motherboards were just released. There are a limited number of models and many of the entry level priced ones have onboard video.

*edit - newegg added combo deals sometime thisafternoon.
