So I have a MSI Neo4-f K8N motherboard and have had 4 512 sticks of ram in it for like 2 years. Never had a problem. Recently I bought 4 1 GB sticks to upgrade. Now the system randomly restarts itself. I called the memory vendor they said it's compatible, MSI wasn't much help in troubleshooting. Is there not a way to test a motherboard to see if it is the problem or what? I have been told to swap memory vendors, swap the motherboard, swap the AMD Athlon 4400 Chip. I've tried taking 2 sticks of the new ram and putting them in the first 2 memory banks all is well. Put them in the other banks, works fine. Did the same with the other 2 sticks.
