I recently noticed that the Geforce 295's Core and Memory speeds: 576MHz and 1242MHz respectively

Whereas
Geforce 275's Core and Mem speeds are: 633MHz and 1404MHZ....



Am I missing something here?

If this is a really stupid question... sorry, I'm a bit of a n00b :whistle:

yes, its a very stupid question

NV had to reduce the clocks on the GTX295 too stay inside a certain power threshold since the GTX295 is 2xGTX275 (with lower clocks)
