Velocirptor disk drive vs Momentus

Hello, I have two VelociRaptor's installed in an AMD 4 core CPU running Win 7 pro. I just put my 3rd one in another 'similar' machine. Same OS, etc.
I did not see anything in the docs that you could adjust the rotational speed.
Is this drive 'out-of-spec'? I'm running out of things to check.
