  1. Everything looks fine, you MAY do a bit better on some parts like your hard drive, is it really necessary to get a "Green" 500gb? Go for a 640gb Caviar black instead.
As for your 4890, why not wait for the 5xxx series? They are just around the corner.

    Have fun with your build.

I got that hard drive because it was the cheapest 500gb that had 32mb cache and 7200rpm at the time.

It was a price issue more than anything.

I will get the 640gb Caviar Black most likely when I get more cash and run a two hd system.

Good advice on waiting for the 5xxx series.

I realize my videocard is a huge bottleneck for my system.

Should I go ahead and buy a better card for 50$ as a stop gap?
  3. get the samsung f3 500 gb it beats most drives to a pulp speed wise
  4. Since I think I need to wait on the 5870 to come out. Should I pick up a cheap video card as a midway point between my old 7600 GS and the 5870?
  5. Um ... NO, Don't get one now as the new HD5xxx is due to be released like let's say Oct. 10th, 2009 .

    Regards.
