Hi guys i cant decide on 2 systems tht cost abt the same (£1000) one has an i7 2.66 with ATI 4890 and the otherone with AMD 3.2 with 4870 X2 and i dont know if one X2 is better in first place and if its worth it because i7 is apparentlyy really good :S. and the sort of games i wana play are like crysis, far cry 2 and flashpoint 2 all at max setting and still want high 20's to 50 FPS (average around about 30's-40's).

the phenom is also a very good gaming cpu . Often its better than the i7 in gaming .

My vote would be for the phenom and 4870x2

btw guyss its actually two of 4870 1GB i think theres a single one thts X2 its actually two of them i tihnk, its in dinopc and AMD Gaming comp about 800 something starting price check for yourselfs if not sure
