I have a custom built system running windows 7 x64 on a raid 0 setup. i created the raid array when i was running windows vista x64 and have since done a fresh install of windows 7 on the raid setup. when i installed vista, i needed drivers for the install to see the raid. now when i installed windows 7, the setup saw the raid without me having to install drivers for a raid. my question is whether or not i am actually using a raid 0 setup, since it was able to install on the raid, or do i still need to install the raid drivers to get the full use out of my raid 0 setup?

What ports do you have the RAID on? Do you have an 'in-OS' manager istalled? (For Intel, it's 'Matrix Manager' or 'Rapid Storage Technology') If so, you should be able to 'see' your RAID volumes plainly...
