How does crossfire connect to the monitor? I have a dell 3007wfp hc which is a 30 inch monitor that requires dual dvi. Would I need to connect both cards to the monitor?

Dual link dvi is just a different dvi cable with all the pins. Crossfire is done across an internal bridge and software. do a google search on dual link dvi

As chef said, you'll connect the special dual-link DVI cable straight to the top card's DVI output, and make sure the internal bridge connectors are in place.
