Should I upgrade to an SSD?

For my last piece of my new build, Do I need SSD? Or should I stay with external hard drive? My budget build will be about 1100$ or so.

More about should upgrade
  1. You don't need an SSD (most PCs don't have one), but it's nice to have if you can afford it. Why can't you use an internal hard disk?
  2. An SSD will certainly speed up your PC performance. Load times will dramatically increase as will data transfer rates. If gaming don't expect higher frame rates though.

A series 2 SSD (say 60Gb) for Windows/Office etc will enhance your system and is relatively inexpensive. Coupled with a HDD for storage, it will be an ideal setup.

    Good luck.
