I am sure there are adaptors for everything. I also have a cheap LCD monitor which came without a DVI connector and I had to use an adaptor since my graphics card (a 4850) came only with a DVI connector.
By the way, the adaptor came WITH the graphics card! It was inside the box.
Just make sure you can find an adaptor before buying.

Even my 4890 still came with an adapter, so I'm pretty sure the 5870 will as well, but if it doesn't you can buy an adapter for $5.
