Motherboard for i5

i was looking for recommendations for a LGA 1156 motherboard to go along with the following system

i will be crossfiring and possibly overclocking


G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL7D-4GBRH


Intel Core i5-750 Lynnfield 2.66GHz 8MB L3 Cache LGA 1156 95W Quad-Core Processor


Two SAPPHIRE 100283-3L Radeon HD 5770 1GB

this one is a fair amount better with USB3.0 and SATA III
a bit more expensive, but its good for overclocking too if you are into that.

Don't get 5770's they fail hard. Just a warning you will regret it, go for 5850s (better than 5770s) or the 5870s

that really depends on what he is going for and how much money he is planning on spending on the computer in the long run.

1. x2 5770's will out preform one 5850.
2. x2 5770's cost about the same as one 5850

though i do agree if he intends to upgrade in the future it would be best to invest in one 5850 now.

it may be too late for the 5850 but thanks for the mobo suggestion
i hope the sound issues in the reviews don't plague me :)
