I have recently updated from vista to win 7 - and i was happy until i realized that there is no option to use my computer on 80 HTZ , i am wondering if there is anyone with this problem here and know some solution for that.
I have windows7 x64 ultimate edition, and a super good ati 4890 XFX , i use the latest driver the 9.9 provided by XFX manufacture (i already sent a mail to them )
so please help me out if u can
You didn't upgrade to Win7, Win7hasn't been released yet, you upgraded to a BETA version and beta versions have bugs, btw, can you see the difference between 60hz and 80hz, because I can't...

Oh sorry i am lost so yes i have BETa and no i dont see differneces but on long term my eyes could get strained so i suppose its a good prevention to heva a better refresh rate

It's all in your head, no human can see the difference between 60hz and 80hz, you do know that movies only play at 24hz-30hz?
BTW, it's possible your monitor doesn't support 80hz, or just not with high resolutions.

man now i can tell u when the monitor works on 80 HTZ my eyes really dont get so stired after a long time of playing or smthing, but on this 60htz i do feel the efect even if i cant notice it but my eyes doesnt like this ,so is there any update patch to fix this ?

Maybe there are drivers for your monitor.
