I am having trouble connecting to the internet. My local area connection displays the limited or no connectivity error. I was able to fix this issue with a winsock fix for XP but no luck. My computer is the client computer on the LAN and the host computer still has its internet up. I need my internet gateway to come back but I don't know how to get it back. I also am having trouble renewing my ip address.

To verify, are you connecting your computer directly to another computer or to a router??
Are you using antivirus/spyware software?
