Ok so my main question is this. I'm working on building my computer. Right now im stuck on Mobo's I have ddr3 1600 RAM and a quad core processor. I'm not stupid and i know what stuff needs to match the Mobo's in order to work. I'm just wondering which mobo i should get based on how well they work with the Vapor-X 4870 Graphic Card x2 in crossfire. I tried a DFI Lanparty board and sent it back cuz it kept glitching and freezing everytime i put in the second graphics card. Right now I'm looking at a Foxconn BlackOps X48 or a Intel BOXDP45SG. I have hurd nothing but good things about the foxconn board and im not big on overclocking. Has anyone used it with the 4870?

DDR3 ram isn't very useful for a core 2 quad. Is there a reason you aren't going for an i5 system instead? The price difference is likely minimal and an i5 is both better and can effectively use that DDR3 ram.
In any case any PCIE card should be fine for any motherboard you might buy.

What do you mean? How is it not useful?
