i need to know what i need to upgrade to play
resident evil 4 n 5
call of duty 4
far cry 2
need for speed shift.
im thinking is to upgrade my gpu to Radeon 5870 1024MB GDDR5

I don't know what resolution you are using, but you might be able to save some money and get something lower than the 5870 and still be fine.

If that does not provide a noticeable improvement then go here to get the parts required.
