I o device error for flash drive

when i copy any file to my usb flash drive it take to much time i just wait, flash drive light blinks and eventually i get I/O device error. how can i fix it?

It seems like your flash drive's controller has malfunctioned. Either you can try upgrading the firmware, or get a new one
