So I just discovered that in order to optimally run my 5870s in Crossfire X I may have to upgrade my motherboard (and by extension my RAM -- I can't find a CFX Ready motherboard that supports DDR2 RAM)

I was thinking about either one of these for the mobo:
MSI 790FX-GD70 - ~$168 - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130223&Tpk=MSI%20790FX-GD70
Gigabyte GA-790FXTA-UD5 - ~$185 - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128415
Asus M4A79XTD EVO - ~$120 - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131402&cm_re=Asus_M4A79XTD_EVO-_-13-131-402-_-Product

I like the first one because it has Quad-CFX Support. I also like the second one because it has two PCI_E 2.0 x16 slots. I've heard great things about all three boards. All three are DDR3 mobos.

At the moment I'm using 8GB of G.SKILL DDR2 800 RAM
My current motherboard is a GIGABYTE GA-MA785G-UD3H. From what I'm reading the 785G won't do very well with CFX because its second PCI-E 2.0 slot is only x4.

For DDR3 RAM I was considering:
Patriot G Series 'Sector 5' Edition 8GB - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820220465
CORSAIR DOMINATOR 8GB - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145284
or G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231325

My current specs are:
AMD Phenom II 965 BE
8GB G.SKILL DDR2 800 RAM
Intel X25M 80GB SSD
WD 650GB 7200RPM HDD
GIGABYTE GA-MA785G-UD3H
Corsair 750W PSU - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139006&cm_re=Corsair_750W_PSU-_-17-139-006-_-Product
XFX RADEON HD 5870 1GB (second one is coming in on Monday)
Windows 7 64-bit Home Premium
Cooler Master Cosmos 1000 Case

Does anybody have any thoughts on the motherboards and RAM I selected? Does anybody have any experience with these particular models? Is there anything else that you would recommend?

Thanks! :)
