GTX 285 overheating

hi all , i have new EVGA GTX 285 SC ediciton ..it idels when surfing the net about 55c but when playing high end games with increasing frame rates like call of juarez , wanted ..it rises to 88c ..i read some topics about that these numbers r normal regarding the high end cards GTX 285 295 ..MY case is gigabyte sumo with 2 fans behind and one infront with an open side mesh ..i leave my fan on auto all the time ..thanx for reply

i've seen the evga super clocked hit 100c while gaming so its normal but your idle temp is a bit high

Those temperatures sound about right if the room temperature is 20-30c.
Try downloading and installing the EVGA Precision software, you can then set the card fan to run a little faster if you want, in order to keep the temperatures down.

i think that temp is ok for your card. as coozie7 said you can use EVGA precision to increase the fan speed and monitor the temp
