I have an Asus M2A-VM integrated graphics card and it sucks for video and gaming. Is it possible to fit a high end graphics card to this and if so what would be a good option. There is 8GB of ram and it has an AMD quad phenom processor.

yes it is. you will just have to choose which card you want. your motherboard has a pcie x16 slot which allows it. for high end cards, you will need a good power supply. of which i would suggest

then to choose a card, look at the charts here

Hey daft, thanks for the quick reply. The power supply I have already is a WIN power atx-450. This is 450 watts. Would it be of any use?

given your PSU is good quality one then you should be able to use GTS250 or HD4850. any higher than this you will have to upgrade your psu. if you think of getting new psu, the psu linked above is a good psu
