Hello, everytime I try and OC my PC it crashes whilst playing a game and performs a memory dump around 10-15 minutes into gameplay. I'm OC'ing through BIOS by 10% (from 3.15GHz to 3.33GHz). I don't know if it has to do with my hardware I have or what, but if anyone could help shine some light on this I'd really appreciate it. Thank you.

My specs are:

Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
AMD Athlon(tm) II X4 640 Processor (4 CPUs), ~3.2GHz
6144MB RAM
DirectX 11
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560

Is the OC stepping pre-set by the mobo manufacturer? Many custom OC settings are unstable and it is a trial and error process. I use the settings that ASRock set up in their UEFI BIOS and don't have problems. But, if you don't have a current mobo you may have to set the OC'ing yourself.

I'm not sure, I have an ASRock m3a770de mobo.
