PCI-E question (Asus P6T Deluxe V2)

Dear reader,

I'm about to purchase a new computer (With Asus P6T Deluxe V2 as motherboard) and I'm keeping my current Asus Xonar D2X. However it's a PCI-E 1x card and I read somewhere it won't fit in the PCI-E 1x slot because of the new cooling heatsink on the V2. If there'd be any one that has this combo that does work please tell me, and if not, will I be able to run it in the 2nd PCI-E 16x slot without trouble?

you could always try to measure the motherboard's length with your xonar d2x
and see how it will work
from my opinion i think it will fit just fine.
