Hello,

I don't really understand how a crossfire motherboard works, so I'm asking can you use a crossfire motherboard if you are only using one graphics card?

And also can you use a 785 hybrid crossfire with only one graphics card?

Absolutely.

Only the HD 2400 to HD 3400 GPU’s are supported in Hybrid CrossFire mode, which limits the usefulness to low end GPU's. Buy a better GPU and don't use it.
