every time i start my pc, the post tells me the stock speed of the cpu and the speed i have it boosted to. that is likely what it is showing you. if all your tests confirm it is running at 4.3 then it is. i would venture to say that yes, it is oc'd. i find it strange that your other programs show the frequency of the cpu but real temp shows zeros for the cpu speed. it shows the fsb speed but not the processor. odd.

First of all make sure you have the latest UEFI Ver. upgrade the UEFI if its not the recent version .
Make sure following Setting are set as following ;
Ai Overclock Tuner : Manual
EPU Power Saving Mode : Disabled
(if you have EPU switch make sure its turned off on the mobo)
Turbo Ratio : By All Core

BCLk : 100 - make sure its set as 100 and you can play with the multiplier
Make sure Turbo Boost is disabled

It might be a UEFI issue.

thanks for your replies. think i'm finally o/c'd as my temp (and monitors) increase when i change my settings. must be a power-saving thing in the bios i don't get (you boot, stock, you use, run)...
