Hi,

I have been searching for 3 maybe 4 140mm case fans to add to cooling of my thermaltake armor+ case, and possibly adding a controller/temperature monitor. I dont mind if the fans glow blue, as my case glows anyways. I dont have a budget to this, as im willing to pay just to keep the air flowing lol.

i have come accross this fan, which seems to be a pretty good fan for air flow, but being a bit noise.

Scythe SY1425SL12H 140mm Case Fan - Retail $9.99

this seems like a pretty cool looking, and smart piece of kit to add.

AeroCool Touch 2000 Controller, Panel - Retail $59.99

Any improvements on these products would be great. hope the information i have given is helpful.

Cheers

I'd probably find some quieter fans than those. 41dB is quite loud, especially when you'll have 4 of them.

Also, is it for that Athlon rig in your sig? If so, there isn't much need for it, as those parts don't emit too awful much heat.

I'm fairly certain you'd be fine with what you've got, but if it's something you want, then go for it. :)

Good luck.

Yea it is for the rig ive got in my ciggy, but i am mostly worried about the temperature of my GPU, sits at bout 59-70 degrees, which scares me to death!

The CPU and MB temps are oki, as ive got a different heatsink, the temps are:

CPU 39 idle & 45/48 load
MB 35 idle & 40+ load, these are scaring aswell lol.

mite just invest in a better GPU cooler as its on stock atm, at standard clock speeds :O.

swedeuk - You have an 8600GTS video card. I checked several technical references. Your temperature readings are within the thermal specifications for the card. Don't worry! Be Happy!
