Best SATA iii for around 200 dollars

Right now I'm looking at this, I'm a musician who will be streaming lots of intense samples, this is the best I can find for price and capacity. Please let me know what you think, thanks!

When you wrote you will be streaming lots of intense samples, do you mean you will simply be listening to samples or do you mean you will be downloading and saving lots of samples?

Audio files have very low bit rates - you certainly don't need a high performance drive to stream them.

I think he might mean that he will be sampling a lot of different tracks, probably at once, and would like a fast responsive system, so he can "pull it all together" at once.

If so, lean towards an SSD like a Vertex 3 or a C300.

At that point, you're just splitting hairs in regards to the difference.
