Depending on what has happened, it may be repairable.

You have given no details, so it's hard to guess what might have happened. It could be as simple as a damaged cable - easily fixed. Or it could be as catastrophic as a head crash or seized bearings - total disaster. Or it could be anywhere in between.

Try to be more specific about the problem. Is the disk spinning? Have you tried the cable with another disk or another device? Have you tried the disk with another computer?
