Overclocking

i have An AMD 8120 8 core processor i want to overclock it.is a Ultra Chilltec Black a good choice for that ? ive heard that was a much better choice but wouild it cool as well as a corsair h50 or H80? im kinda new at this i would appreciate a little help on this matter will the Ultra chilltec black do just as good orgo with the above forementioned?

    If you can afford Water cooling get it.
    H80 is Ok but this one is better for not much more

    these heat-sinks could get the 8120 up to 4.0Ghz-4.2Ghz maybe even 4.4Ghz but that's pushing it, but Water could probably get the BD up to 4.6Ghz. If it was me i would get the 212evo but hey.
  2. Hi and welcome to Tom's forum.

    That H100 looks good but a little expensive for performance, the Noctua NH-D14 is more cheaper and performance excellent on air as well as the Thermalright Silver Arrow and Thermalright Archon.

    Another option is add $70 more to the H100 and get this: http://www.sidewindercomputers.com/xsra750rxwak1.html that's much better than any of those.
