How to format USB Mass Storage Device

I can not format my USB Mass Storage Device

Have to be more specific about this problem. Let us know what the USB storage device, Make, Model #, if it is brand new or you have data on it, what computer you are using to partition or format it, the connecting cable, and what power supply you are using to power it.

That way someone will be able to get you started
