Your connection is using your router for DNS so it should work. You could try the Open Google DNS servers. 8.8.8.8 & 8.8.4.4

Hi there, I have tried using the Google DNS servers but the problem remains. Internet access from desktop is ok but not thru my laptop(wireless). Status on my laptop is connected. Green signal bar is excellent but with o yellow circle on top of it.
Anybody got any ideas what is causing this?

Try running WinsockXPFix. http://www.snapfiles.com/get/winsockxpfix.html Also, in Internet Explorer --> Tools --> Internet Options --> Connections --> LAN settings --> Make sure there are not boxes checked.
