Ok so I can't get to post on my new pc (see below). I've used the basic requirements of components to try to narrow it down but I still can't find out what the problem is.

 

Yes I looked at that thread with a ton of things.

 

I contacted, intel,asus,tigerdirect,bfg and none of them gave me a good answer.

It seems like it may be the CPU/Motherboard I'm honestly not sure. New ASUS boards have LED's that light up when you have a problem and it is just the CPU LED that won't go away.

I may just go to a computer shop today and see what they can do, any ideas?

Well if you have the CPU LED on, than you must have something wrong with the CPU. Make sure that you have the CPU HSF on correctly, check that the CPU fan is plugged into the right spot on the mobo. You might as well double check and see that you have the CPU inserted correctly also.

Yeah that was it, was such a long time since I built a pc, they didn't have those 3-4 years ago on the one I bought lol.
Sucks I spent hours and missed something so easy. Figured that out yesterday when talking to a friend lol.
