Task manager file corrupt

Hello,
When i log on to windows the local area connection doesn't show in task bar and my start menu hangs but folders opens every thing else works except them like i listen to songs but internet doesn't works and when i shut down my computer it take too much time so i unplug it and second time when i log on to it The windows works perfectly why??

Well, unplugging your computer isn't helping the situation, and is probably making it worse.

Get your windows CD out, and repair install the OS.
