Adding Hard Drive to Optiplex gx620 Mini Tower

Hi all,

I would like to add a second hard drive to my Dell Optiplex GX620 mini tower but am confused about the specs of the type of drive I should be buying. I do have the optiplex manual which states an internal hard should a be a 1 inch high type? But still don't really understand what I should be looking for? Would I be best buying the same make and model of hard drive that's already installed to make sure it's compatible with my dell optiplex gx620?

Two serial ATA controllers supporting one device each.
One parallel Ultra ATA/100 IDE supporting two devices.

Your hdd, should be a standard 3.5in drive of either SATA2 or ATA100, but you will need to check what is connected.
