MY EXTERNAL DRIVE,sphdu2-makes clicking noise when plug it in.

my question is what might be wrong with this,makes clicking noise when i plug it into my computer,but worked this morning.

Better backup everithing important from there. I know this to happen when something goes wrong with the electronics of the disk.
