I am not sure if I could use the new i5 or new i7's and possibly a Gigabyte or other board with a compatible graphics card to build a hackintosh... I was wondering if anyone knew. I would use Chameleon and a bootloader from netkas.

Hopefully someone knows! Any advice/help would be great.

Thanks.

P55 chipset driver would be the main issue.

That's what I expected, but I haven't found a definitive yes or no... It is somewhat annoying, but I am probably impatient. I am going to see if there is a known fix either in the works or (somehow) already released.

Um, build a x58 one and use a board from efix compatibility site, and it will work for sure.

Intel's Core i5 uses a P55 motherboard.
