Ok so I have a Gigabyte GA890-UD3H mobo with a AMD 965 B.E. 3.4ghz and a Corsair H50 cooling it and I would like to overclock but I'm a little new to the overclocking scene and would like some Bios configuration settings for my rig has anyone played around with this set up to give me an idea of where to start?

increase your multiplier and increase the voltage in the bios. going off experience with phenom's, you can probably get close to 4ghz. just up the multiplier until you get up to 3.8 or 3.9 on your clocks, then increase your volts to about 1.425 for that high of settings. you dont have to go that high you can clock to 3.7 and run lower volts, but if you go as high as 4ghz you will need around 1.4volts to keep it stable. There iare good overclocking guides on toms, check them out.
