Wirelss connection prob

Hello,
got a micronet wireless lan card installed. It wont log on to Sky. it tries and tries and doesn't get anywhere. I have re-installed, re established connectinos etc. but don't seem able to set it up again. It ways I ought turn off the windows config check box but when I do the whole thing doesn't work!

Sky router enables wireless security by default. Check to see if the password is written on the router itself or in the literature from Sky which came with it.
